School has started which also means Halloween and its dreaded candy is just around the corner.  This year, Dr’s. Dominic Colletti and Joseph Matustik are again joining forces with Operation Gratitude to help reduce the amount of candy kids consume this Halloween while also providing a special treat package for our Troops overseas.  Since 2011, we have collected and shipped over 3000lbs of candy to or men and women in the military.

 

Operation Gratitude seeks to lift the morale and put smiles on faces by sending care packages addressed to individual Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines deployed in harm’s way, to their children left behind, and to Wounded Warriors recuperating in Transition Units.

 

COLLECTION TIMES:

 

Monday, November 2nd – noon to 6pm

Tuesday, November 3rd – 8am to 3pm

Wednesday, November 4th – noon to 6pm

Thursday, November 5th - 8am to 3pm

Friday, November 6th - 8am to noon

 

 

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS:

 

-Bring your child/children to our dental office at 176 S. Bloomingdale Rd. in Bloomingdale to cash in their unopened candy.  They will receive $1 per pound of candy up to $5 per child.

 

-Unfortunately, we cannot accept large donations from schools or other organizations.
